A Prayer for Restlessness

Lord, my body is still but my mind keeps running, chasing tomorrow before today is even finished. I don't know how to sit in a quiet room without reaching for a screen, a task, a distraction. Teach me that stillness isn't wasted time.

Remind me that rest is a gift, not a wage. When my thoughts race ahead to what's next, call me back to this moment, to this breath, to You.

Quiet the noise I've mistaken for purpose. Let me be present where You have placed me, and let my restless heart find its rest in You alone.
