A PRAYER FOR MARRIAGE

Wives: Lord, teach me to love with open hands, not clenched fists, to offer grace freely, even when my patience wears thin, to see my husband not as a project to fix, but a gift to cherish.

Husbands: Lord, make me strong enough to be gentle, wise enough to listen first, and brave enough to sacrificially love her fully.

Wives: Bind our hearts together, not with chains but with trust, that we may be partners, not just in duty, but in delight.

Husbands: Make my words steady, not sharp, lifting up over tearing down, speaking life into the heart of the one we love.

Both: God, help us to honor you in this marriage.
